Customer Service Representative
Tempo Mechanical Services is seeking a Customer Service Representive
for our call center.The job duties are as follows:
Job Description
- Taking calls from internal and external customers.
- Scheduling calls or work
- Order material, parts or equipment. Document with purchase orders and communicate with vendor or internally to get part or material to the appropriate place at the appropriate time.
- Confirmation calls - confirm next day appointments
- Accessory and Agreement sales spreadsheet. Mail reminder postcards to encourage customers to schedule maintenance service at the right time.
- Customer follow up regarding maintenance agreement sales.
- Backup Dispatcher on dispatching technicians. Backup residential new construction department during peak times (with phones).
- Help coordinate delivery persons schedules if necessary.
- Coordinating mail projects for marketing purposes
- Some data entry required.
- Incentives for over the phone sales
Job Requirements
- Microsoft products knowledge required (training will be provided on industry specific software (Ascente)
- Specific hours, Monday - Friday with Saturday and Sunday rotation for summer hours.
- Bilingual a plus

AOR Technician
Job Description
Perform installation work for HVAC/R equipment, duct systems, fittings,
grilles/registers/diffusers, controls, and related equipment. Identify and solve problems that might impede the completion of work within budgeted
time. Provide feedback/suggestions to supervisors, salespeople, and others on ways to improve quality and reduce costs. Complete approved
repairs/improvements in a timely manner including collect any payments as needed.
- Brazing, soldering and welding required
- Start-up of high efficiency equipment
- Work with sheet metal and sharp objects
Job Requirements
- iEPA Certified for R22 and R410A
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies
- Ability to follow/perform installation procedures for HVAC/R equipment
- Ability to follow controls/wiring schematic
- Ability to braze/solder/weld
- Ability to perform minor field fabrication
- Ability to lift 100 pounds
- Standard technician tools
- Two or more years of experience as an HVAC/R installation, maintenance or service technician
- Nate certification preferred or willingness to work to attain NATE certification

Service Manger
Job Description
Experienced Service Manager responsible for the management, administration, growth and
profitability of the service department, including implementation and success of strategic business plan. Duties Include:
- Provide a consistent effort in developing programs to increase revenue per call through sales of services, accessories and maintenance agreements. Train and motivate technicians to align with this goal.
- Assist in planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating all aspects of the service department.
- Review and evaluate departmental processes.
- Review and reconcile weekly payroll with service invoices.
- Help in training designated employees in proper servicing procedures, practices and work with technicians to identify a career path and provide a training program to achieve their goals.
- Resolve customer concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide periodic performance and compensation reviews.
Job Qualifications
- Experienced (5 + years of combined practical and academic experience in the full range of HVAC fields, including the experience to analyze a typical field situation and provide a timely, correct solution with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Formal education, industry training and certifications will be considered a positive but are not specifically required.
- An understanding of the principles of residential building science is a plus but training in this area will be mandatory.
